I was at a meeting in the Castlecomer today with a group from the Craft yard. I am quite excited to work with the group on sculpture in the woods. I am going to walk in the woods tomorrow and think about the kind of work I would like to make. I am really looking forward to taking part in this project. Ben will be my official photographer for the day while I will be busy foraging in the earth.

Brendan and the secret of kells has won “The Director’s Finders series” which means that Tomm will heading over to LA in September. This is a great opportunity for him and the film.

I am just back from the Galway Film Fleadh where I met people who have seen the artists residency blog and therefore my work. This has encouraged me to create this new blog as a way to allow people to see my work in progress.
I kept a blog/diary at least 3 times a week when I was the artist in residence in kilkenny. Since I finished I have been very reluctant to write as I have found it difficult to start working again on my own.
I have a few projects in mind and I will record the processes here on this blog.
